Texas Roadhouse Gluten-Free Menu 2024

Here is the complete Texas Roadhouse gluten-free menu.

Texas Roadhouse tries to re-purpose some of their current menu items as gluten-friendly, but they come up short. For starters, they do not operate a gluten-free kitchen so cross contamination can occur with any of their food.

They also don’t provide any gluten-free alternative seasonings, sauces, or marinades for any of their dishes so you will be limited to salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar for pretty much everything.

There are a few things to eat if you end up here, just make sure to let your waiter know that you are needing to eat gluten-free.

Summary

Texas Roadhouse may offer what they call a gluten-friendly menu, but it’s mainly about taking things off. They don’t offer any gluten-free alternatives so their selection is limited and most dishes can’t be enjoyed how they were originally intended. They could do a lot more to help provide some extra options for those who are sensitive or allergic to gluten.

      • I wish you would just come out and tell your servers to tell the people you’re serving that Texas Roadhouse doesn’t offer gluten-free entrees. We brought our mother in to enjoy a nice meal and told our server she had to have gluten-free, and we were assured it was gluten-free. She didn’t make it home without an accident. You may think it’s not a big deal, but when you have this type of allergy, it is a BIG deal.

        • Absolutely Becky!
I feel for your mom and you as well. My mom has Celiac Disease and people don’t realize those “accidents”(which can happen within minutes of ingesting gluten) can literally be life or death.
I wish people would understand that Celiac Disease is NOT a diet fad and educate themselves. Especially those in the food industry!
I wish you and your mom well.

    • Are you serious…. meat potatoes and salads are the easiest foods to make gluten-free… How can your menu be this limited? McDonald’s has a better menu for crying out loud… I Hate that my family loves this place so much because they totally don’t care about allergies or quality products… I get the peanut thing, but gluten-free isn’t difficult at all.

      • I couldn’t agree more. This place won’t even wipe the grill down to prevent gluten contamination. My son has a very high gluten intolerance.

  1. Is the steak kabob seasoned in a GF fashion, or does it need special instruction of “No Seasoning or Butter” like the “Any Steak” option?

  2. This was the nastiest restaurant for anyone with gluten allergies. There’s literally zero flavor to chicken or steak without seasoning. Salad with oil and vinegar is all they offer for dressing. There’s no reason they can’t come into 2019 and do better. Packets of butter and dressing can be offered. Seasonings besides salt and pepper could be offered. Pathetic excuse for a meal ever. I shouldn’t have paid for it.

  3. Thank you so much for this list. Sometimes this is hard to find. My research for gluten-free for Texas Roadhouse was coming up short and was frustrating… until I found this page. Most servers do not really have this info either.

  4. I called my local Texas Roadhouse…my family did an order on the app. Due to being celiac, I called in my order, because the app doesn’t allow you to be that specific. She asked me to hold on as she inquired if all the chicken had been marinated. I can’t have marinated due to my allergies. They informed me that all the chicken had already been marinated. I’ve had no problem with getting my order with dine in! Thanks Texas Roadhouse, for making me have to order from somewhere else. Get with the times! Done!!!!

  6. I was very satisfied with the gluten free menu. As a person with celiac it is hard to always find places to eat at. I always felt left out when my family wound go to Burger King, or McDonald’s because I could not participate. But now, Texas Road House has made me realize that I can go out and enjoy myself with the people I love because I have an option. Seasoned or not, I go somewhere where I can rely on having Gluten free options. Thank you!❤️❤️😁😁

  7. You really need to update your gluten free menu and at the very least offer some kind of salad dressing besides oil and vinegar. There are lots of Newman’s Own salad dressings that are gluten free and they offer those at most restaurants now for Celiacs.

  8. The waitress informed me they don’t have a gluten free menu in the restaurant…. but l could look it up on my phone. I have tried their chicken & l found it comparable to a cow patty…so it’s steak, potato & veggies again.

  9. If steak, chicken, etc. is prepared without the seasoning but is cooked on a surface that previously had regularly seasoned meat won’t cross contamination/ cross contact occur? Personally, I happen to enjoy a steak seasoned with just salt and pepper. I don’t need fancy seasonings anyway. However, if I’m going to get sick by not asking for my steak to be cooked a piece of aluminum foil, THAT would be a deal breaker!
