The Counter is a high end burger restaurant chain with locations in the United States, Malaysia, Ghana, Ireland, Saudi Arabia and UAE. They offer customized burgers with gourmet toppings that are available in a variety of combinations and can be found on their checklist style menu. The restaurant’s first location was opened by Jeff Weinstein in Santa Monica, California in 2003. Since then, they’ve grown to now include more than 21 locations, 11 of which are in California.

The Counter does a great job at making most of their menu gluten-free. They provide a gluten-free bun to enjoy with their burgers, and you can also order a bowl if you aren’t interested in bread at all. You don’t have to make many compromises here, as most of there ingredients and menu items are already gluten-free which is great!
